So, today, Wednesday, I'm ready to leave the gym after a great bike ride and workout, and I see my front tire has gone completely flat. I see the culprit.. there's a bigass nail sticking out of it.

After my partner has to come pick me up from the gym, I get my act together and go to a property we've been renovating together to do a final cleaning before closing. I realize halfway through mopping the floors there that I've used hummingbird nectar instead of Murphy's Soap Oil.

I need to call my partner to bring me something to clean up the mess so I go to my car to plug my phone in... it only has 1% battery left. Yet I realize the only charge cord left in my car goes to a version of my phone that's about 3 generations ago.

Seriously, what the hell?

I guess that's why they call this Hump Day, and I'm hoping everything else is downhill after 12:00.

Meanwhile, someone sent me this video to make me feel better, and I forgot everything else in my life once I saw it. It's the most simple, childlike way of looking at everything... your day, your life, your job, your lack of anything and everything.

Watch it. I promise you'll have a better day.
